The heart and spirit at the foundation of my work is connected to my inner guidance. Combined with my experience as a professional artist and educator my work encompasses diverse styles and genres. I am inspired by the art that expresses itself through my hands, and through the hands of my  students. As I explore my love for the Creative Mind inherent within the soul of each of us, I continue to learn about the power that resides within.

​This is the fertile canvas upon which Art of the Heart was born. Most of my paintings are produced in oil and reflect thoughts ranging from abstract to representational works. My paintings  have been shown in public and private venues in Westchester, Connecticut and New York.

​My higher education began as a student under my Master Teacher Guru Madeleine. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Parsons School of Design/ The New School for Social Research. I received my Master’s degree in art education from the College of New Rochelle, as well as a Professional Certification in art education.
